GHMC Commissioner Conducts Surprise Inspections
As part of the GHMC sanitation drive under the 99-day Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme, Commissioner R.V. Karnan conducted surprise inspections in several areas of the Khairatabad Zone.
During the inspection:
- The Commissioner reviewed sanitation activities in Jubilee Hills Circle
- Officials inspected Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs) in Banjara Hills
- Special focus was given to areas near NBT Nagar and Apollo Hospital
GHMC officials were instructed to remove garbage vulnerable points quickly and strengthen sanitation measures.

The GHMC sanitation programme in Hyderabad places major emphasis on identifying and eliminating Garbage Vulnerable Points.
Key actions planned include:
- Immediate cleaning and removal of garbage dumps
