Hyderabad: In a continued effort to maintain law and order, Kulsumpura Police secured jail convictions for three individuals in E-Petty cases in Hyderabad’s Golconda Zone. The convictions were announced on March 11, 2026, when the IV Special Judicial Magistrate at Manoranjan Complex, Nampally, delivered judgments in two separate cases filed by the Kulsumpura Police Station.

Officials said the Kulsumpura Police E-Petty case convictions highlight the department’s ongoing initiative to curb nuisance and illegal activities in public places.

Court Sentences Three Accused in Kulsumpura E-Petty Cases

The IV Special Judicial Magistrate Court in Nampally heard two different cases filed by the Kulsumpura Police Station and delivered verdicts against three individuals involved in petty offenses.

All three accused were sentenced to two days of imprisonment for violations under the relevant provisions of the CP Act.

Case 1: Public Nuisance Under CP Act

In the first case, registered under Section 61-B of the CP Act, two individuals were produced before the court for disturbing public peace.

  • MD Ibrahim (22) – Driver, resident of Jirra
  • Md Abdul Gaffar (23) – Driver, resident of Jirra

Judgment:
The Hon’ble Magistrate sentenced both accused to two days of imprisonment for causing public nuisance.

Case 2: Violation of CP Act

In another case registered under Section 70-C of the CP Act, police arrested an individual involved in illegal activities.

  • Raviteja (23) – Labourer, resident of Jirra

Judgment:
The accused was sentenced to two days of imprisonment by the court.

Police Efforts to Maintain Public Order

The Kulsumpura Police E-Petty cases leading to jail convictions were pursued under the supervision of Inspector of Police A. Ramulu.

The court proceedings were facilitated by Morning Court PC K. Naresh, who presented the case details and evidence before the IV Special Judicial Magistrate at Manoranjan Complex, Nampally.

Police officials said the use of E-Petty filings and digital systems helps ensure quick action against petty offenders, improving public safety in the Golconda Zone.

Police Warn Against Public Nuisance

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Kulsumpura Police Station stated that strict action will continue against individuals creating nuisance or violating public order.

Authorities emphasized that technology-based E-Petty enforcement will be used regularly to bring offenders to justice quickly and maintain peace in the area.
