Four people were killed and several others injured after a private travel bus lost control and overturned on National Highway 44 near Gannaram under the Andole division in Telangana’s Nizamabad district late Thursday night.

According to police, around 22 passengers were travelling in the bus, which was heading towards Ankola in Maharashtra. During the journey, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn on the highway.

Four passengers died on the spot in the accident, while several others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to the Government Hospital in Nizamabad for treatment.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are also examining the exact cause of the accident.
