Minority Welfare Minister Mohammad Azharuddin Attends Launch of Peace Foundation Initiative in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Peace Foundation, in association with Western Hospitals, was formally launched in Hyderabad with the objective of extending medical assistance and social support to underprivileged sections of society under the theme “Let’s Spread Kindness Together.”
The event was attended by several prominent personalities, including Dr. G. Mustafa Faisal, Dr. Syed Akbar Hassan, Dr. M. A. Mateen, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Advisor to the State Government for SC, ST, OBC and Minorities Welfare, Mohammad Azharuddin, Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises, and Syed Azmatullah Hussaini, Chairman of the Telangana Waqf Board.
Speaking on the occasion, Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Minister Mohammad Azharuddin appreciated the initiative taken by the organisers and emphasised the importance of collective efforts in addressing the healthcare needs of economically weaker sections of society. He stated that such initiatives play a vital role in ensuring that quality medical services reach those who cannot afford them.
The Minister highlighted that the government remains committed to supporting welfare initiatives that promote healthcare access and social support for marginalized communities. He encouraged organisations and healthcare institutions to come forward and collaborate in humanitarian activities that benefit the needy.
Other dignitaries present also lauded the efforts of the Peace Foundation and Western Hospitals for launching a platform aimed at providing medical assistance and spreading awareness about health among underprivileged communities.
The organisers informed that the Peace Foundation, with the support of Western Hospitals, will undertake several initiatives including medical camps, health awareness programs, and charitable outreach activities to improve the quality of life for economically weaker sections.
The programme concluded with a call for greater cooperation between social organisations, healthcare institutions, and the government to expand access to essential services and strengthen community welfare efforts.
