The Medipalli road accident occurred when the family was travelling on a motorcycle from Ramnagar to Medipalli to visit relatives.
How the Accident Happened
According to initial information, Marri Prashanth (35), his wife Marri Shravani (33), and their son Sahasrar (12) were travelling on a bike when the accident took place.
When they reached near Decathlon under Medipalli Police Station limits, a speeding Kia car coming from behind rammed into their motorcycle.
The impact was so severe that:
- The bike was dragged for some distance by the car
- Prashanth died on the spot
- His wife Shravani suffered serious injuries
- Their 12-year-old son Sahasrar also sustained injuries
CCTV Footage Captures the Incident
CCTV footage from the area reportedly shows that after hitting the bike, the Kia car dragged it for several meters, highlighting the severity of the collision.
