According to Munsif News 24×7, the Commissioner’s Task Force (Golconda Zone), along with Mehdipatnam Police, conducted a raid at “Aliya Ice Cream Parlour” in Ahmed Nagar, First Lancer, Bada Bazar, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad.
Accused Arrested in Hyderabad Food Safety Case
- The accused, Syed Musharafuddin (24), was taken into custody
- He was allegedly running an illegal and unhygienic ice candy and lassi manufacturing unit
- Products were being supplied to the public despite serious hygiene violations
What Was Found During the Raid?
Police seized a large quantity of items from the unit:
- 92 packets of ice candies (each containing 180 pieces)
- 20 packets of lassi candies (each containing 210 pieces)
- 300 glasses of lassi
- 15 buckets of curd (approx. 150 kg)
- 50 kg sugar
- Ice candy and lassi machines
- Citric acid (8 kg) and sucrose
- Flavours including mango, orange, and blueberry
- Multiple packing machines and refrigerators
Total seized property value: ₹5,44,290

Officials revealed that:
- Food products were prepared in highly unhygienic conditions
- Chemical substances were used during manufacturing
- The accused was allegedly cheating the public for illegal profits
