As part of the restoration drive, these encroachments were cleared.

After removing encroachments:

• The lake has now been expanded to 28.05 acres
• Efforts are being made to improve water storage and surroundings
• The project aims to enhance urban ecology and water conservation

Rs 20 Crore Project for Development

The Telangana government is investing:

• Rs 20 crore for the restoration and development of Tummidi Kunta
• Funds are being used for cleaning, expansion, and infrastructure improvements
