₹2 Lakh Demand and Immediate Cash Taken

Police revealed:

  • The accused allegedly demanded ₹2 lakh from the victim
  • The delivery boy gave them the cash he was carrying at that moment
  • The total recovered so far is ₹23,000

Complaint and Police Action

The incident came to light when:

  • The victim informed his employer about the extortion
  • A formal complaint was filed at Film Nagar Police Station

Using CCTV footage, police identified and arrested the accused.

Accused Identified in Hyderabad Film Nagar Case

The arrested individuals have been identified as:

  • Mohammed Manzoor Hassan (60) – Reporter with a web channel, resident of Suncity, Bandlaguda
  • Mohd. Tousfeeq (46) – Reporter with another web channel, resident of Musheerabad
  • Mohammed Taj (29) – Driver, resident of Musheerabad

One More Accused on the Run

During interrogation:

  • The accused confessed that remaining money is with a fourth accomplice
  • The fourth suspect is currently absconding
  • Police teams are actively working to trace and arrest the accused

Authorities have confirmed:

  • ₹23,000 has been recovered
  • Efforts are ongoing to recover the remaining amount
