Hyderabad: As part of Telangana’s ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are distributing Enumeration Forms (EFs) to existing voters for verification of electoral roll details. According to Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy, the process is aimed at updating and verifying voter records, identifying shifted or deceased voters, and ensuring that all eligible voters remain on the electoral rolls. Voters are required to fill and submit the Enumeration Form, with BLOs conducting verification and uploading data through the BLO App.

The Special Intensive Revision process began on June 15, 2026, and will continue according to the Election Commission schedule.

What Is the Enumeration Form (EF)?

The Enumeration Form (EF) is a pre-filled voter verification form distributed during the Special Intensive Revision exercise.

According to Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy:

• Every voter receives two copies of the Enumeration Form.
• One copy must be filled and submitted.
• The second copy remains with the voter as an acknowledgment.
• The form can also be completed online.

The objective of the form is to verify voter information and maintain accurate electoral rolls.

How to Fill the Enumeration Form

When a Booth Level Officer visits a household, voters should carefully verify and complete the following information:

1. EPIC Number (Voter ID Number).
2. Name of the voter as per the voter ID card.
3. Father’s, Mother’s, or Spouse’s Name.
4. Date of Birth or Age.
5. Gender.
6. Mobile Number.
7. Current Residential Address.
8. Verification of all pre-filled details.
9. Correction of any incorrect information.
10. Signature on the declaration before submission.

After completion, the form should be submitted to the Booth Level Officer.

What Happens After Submission?

Following submission of the Enumeration Form:

• BLOs will verify the information provided by voters.
• Data will be uploaded through the BLO App.
• A Draft Electoral Roll will be published on July 31, 2026.
• Claims and objections can be submitted until August 30, 2026.
• The Final Electoral Roll will be published on October 1, 2026.

Officials have advised voters to carefully review their details before submission.

What If the BLO Has Not Visited?

Voters whose Booth Level Officer has not yet visited can:

• Contact their local BLO.
• Contact the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

• Submit the Enumeration Form online when available through the voter services portal.

Officials have advised voters not to wait until the last date and to complete the process as early as possible.

Existing Voters Also Required to Submit Enumeration Forms

Election authorities have clarified that existing voters must also submit the Enumeration Form during the Special Intensive Revision process.

This requirement applies even if the voter’s name is already present on the electoral roll.

The objective is to ensure accurate voter records and updated electoral rolls across Telangana.
