35-Year-Old Hyderabad Trader Fatally Attacked by Unidentified Assailants

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old cloth trader, identified as Fasi Ahmed, also known as Aamir, was allegedly attacked and killed by unidentified assailants in Hyderabad, triggering concern in the area.

According to preliminary information, Fasi Ahmed, a resident of the Singareni Colony area, had returned to Hyderabad from Mumbai shortly before the incident. He was allegedly attacked by unidentified persons using sharp weapons, sustaining serious injuries.

He was immediately shifted to Osmania General Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Following the incident, AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi directed Yakutpura MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj to visit Osmania General Hospital and take stock of the situation.

The deceased’s body has been shifted for a post-mortem examination. The authorities are completing the necessary legal procedures before handing over the body to the family.

Fasi Ahmed reportedly leaves behind eight children. His family is said to be in deep shock following the sudden death. Representatives of AIMIM expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and assured them of all possible support during the difficult time.

The party has also urged the Telangana government and Hyderabad Police to strengthen police patrolling across the city, take strict action against anti-social elements and implement effective measures to curb the spread of drugs and rising violent crime.

Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the assailants. The exact motive behind the attack and the circumstances leading to the killing will become clear as the investigation progresses.
