During the operation, officials discovered that two manufacturing units were producing adulterated ginger garlic paste without maintaining hygiene or food safety standards.
Factories Identified in the Raid
Police identified the following units involved in producing adulterated ginger garlic paste:
- Seven Cooks Enterprises – operated by Mohammed Ziauddin
- Arjun Enterprises – operated by Mohammed Mazhar
Authorities said both units were allegedly preparing and selling adulterated ginger garlic paste in local shops in the area.
Rotten Garlic and Chemicals Used in Production
Investigators revealed that the accused were preparing ginger garlic paste using spoiled garlic and chemical substances in extremely unhygienic conditions.
Police said the paste was being manufactured:
- In unclean environments without proper food safety measures
- Using rotten garlic bulbs
- Mixed with chemical substances to mask foul smell
- Packaged and sold to local stores for public consumption
