According to local information, the burglary spree began in Chengicherla during the midnight hours of January 15–16.

The very next night, the gang continued its activities in nearby areas.
Fresh Incidents in Pratap Singaram
On the midnight of January 16–17, burglars targeted houses in Pratap Singaram, which also falls under the Medipally region.
- Two houses were successfully burgled
- An attempt was made to break into another house
- The entire act was recorded on CCTV cameras
