AIPC hosts conclave on sustainable urban development in Hyderabad

The All-India Professionals Congress (AIPC), through its Architects Domain – Telangana, organised a high-level conclave titled “Envisioning Sustainable Cities – Conversations on Urbanization & Sustainability” on January 24, 2026, at the Hyderabad Polo & Riding Club in Aziznagar.

The symposium brought together architects, environmentalists, academics and urban development professionals to deliberate on sustainable city planning, environmental resilience and inclusive urban growth.

Environmental expert Prof. K. Purushotham Reddy addressed the gathering, underlining the urgent need for environmentally responsible urbanisation and long-term sustainability frameworks in rapidly growing cities.

The event witnessed participation from several eminent professionals, including Sujana Reddy Kumbham, Telangana State Head, Architect Domain, AIPC; Prof. Anirban Ghosh of Mahindra University; noted environmentalist B.V. Subba Rao; Dr. Kavita Reddy, AIPC State Head, Healthcare Domain; Sheetal from the Gandipet Welfare Association; and Srinivas representing the Ramky Group.

The conclave served as a platform for dialogue on policy-driven urban planning, community participation and sustainable infrastructure development, reinforcing AIPC’s commitment to fostering professional engagement on critical national issues.
