The accused, identified as Shiva Sai Reddy, was caught near Yannampet in the Ghatkesar Excise Police Station limits, and the seized contraband was recovered from his Maruti Baleno car.

  • Paid approximately ₹30,000 for the consignment
  • Transported the contraband to Yannampet in Ghatkesar

The seized ganja was intended for illegal distribution in the local area.

Ganja Packets Sold for ₹400 Each

During the investigation, officials found that the accused had planned to sell the ganja in small packets.

Police said the drug was being:

  • Packed into 4-gram packets
  • Sold for ₹400 per packet

Authorities believe the accused was targeting local buyers through small-scale retail distribution.

Maruti Baleno Car and Ganja Seized

During the raid, excise police seized the Maruti Baleno car used to transport the dry ganja along with the contraband.
