Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday said that public support for the Congress party is growing steadily ahead of the municipal elections scheduled on February 11, after addressing a large public meeting in Parigi Assembly constituency of the erstwhile Rangareddy district under the Praja Palana – Pragati Bata programme.

Sharing his message on X, the Chief Minister said the response at the Parigi public meeting clearly showed that people are ready to vote for the Congress hand symbol and ensure the party’s victory.
Strong Public Mood in Favour of Congress
Revanth Reddy said the enthusiasm of the people in Parigi reflected strong confidence in the Congress government’s development and welfare agenda. He noted that the party is moving forward by balancing development and welfare together, making its success inevitable in the upcoming civic polls.
He added that women, dressed in Indiramma sarees, are emerging as proud symbols of Telangana self-respect and will play a decisive role in the Congress victory.

A major highlight of the Praja Palana – Pragati Bata meeting in Parigi was the emphasis on women’s economic empowerment. As part of this initiative, ₹567 crore was distributed as a cheque to district-level women’s associations.
