Community Contact Programme Held at Hussainialam; Police Urge Tenant Verification

Community Contact Programme held at Hussainialam Police Station as ACP Charminar urges house owners to verify tenants for safety and law and order in Hyderabad.

A Community Contact Programme was conducted in the limits of Hussainialam Police Station by Chanderashekar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Charminar. The programme was attended by SHOs, SIs, and police staff of the Charminar Zone, with the aim of strengthening coordination between police and local residents.

Focus on Tenant Verification

During the interaction, the ACP pointed out that many people from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and other states are residing in the area as tenants and working in different occupations. In this context, house owners were clearly instructed to verify tenants before renting out houses.

Instructions to House Owners

Police advised property owners to:

  • Check valid ID proofs of tenants
  • Keep xerox copies of ID documents
  • Maintain complete tenant details

These steps, the ACP said, are essential for security and law-and-order maintenance.

Preventive Measure for Public Safety

The ACP clarified that tenant verification is a purely preventive step aimed at:

  • Ensuring the safety of residents
  • Preventing untoward incidents
  • Maintaining peace and harmony in the locality

He requested full cooperation from residents and house owners to make the area safer.

The Community Contact Programme at Hussainialam reflects Hyderabad Police’s continued efforts to promote awareness, improve safety, and strengthen trust between the police and the public.
