Hyderabad: After launching several governance-focused initiatives, the Telangana administration continues to stress accountability in policing as Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, DCP of Secunderabad Zone, conducted a formal inspection of Chilkalguda Police Station on January 19, 2026.

Inspection of Vehicles, Equipment, and Records
During her visit, the DCP carried out a detailed inspection of patrol cars and Blue Colts vehicles deployed in the Chilkalguda division. She personally reviewed:
- AD Drill Kits
- Operational status of tablets
- Vehicle maintenance standards
- Papillon devices
She also examined Grave Crime Case Diaries (CD files) and Rowdy Sheeter records, stressing the importance of proper documentation and monitoring of habitual offenders.
Strong Warning Against Corruption
Taking a firm stand, DCP Rakshitha Krishna Murthy issued a stern warning against corruption, making it clear that any involvement in corrupt practices will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Emphasis on Public-Friendly Policing
The DCP directed officers to maintain courtesy and sensitivity while dealing with the public, especially petitioners visiting the police station.

- Immediate response to Dial 100 calls
- Prompt registration of FIRs based on the merit and seriousness of complaints

Surveillance on Rowdy Sheeters and Repeat Offenders
Officers were instructed to maintain constant surveillance on rowdy sheeters and MO (Modus Operandi) criminals. The DCP emphasized that strict legal action must be taken against repeat offenders, particularly those who violate conditions after being bound over.

Special emphasis was laid on improving investigation standards in sensitive and serious cases, including:
- POCSO cases
- Cybercrime
- Property-related offences
She directed officers to ensure meticulous investigations and effective filing of charge sheets to secure maximum convictions.
