Revanth Reddy has already been sanctioned and will be released shortly.
The assurance came after Usman Mohammad Usman met the Minister and submitted a representation highlighting the concerns of the victims’ families. Minister Azharuddin said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had personally assured financial assistance to the families, demonstrating the government’s sensitivity towards the tragedy. He clarified that the delay in distributing the cheques occurred only due to the Chief Minister’s busy official schedule, including municipal elections and other administrative responsibilities. However, all approvals have been completed and the ex-gratia amount stands fully sanctioned.
The Telangana Government has approved an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh for each affected family. Additionally, the Central Government has also announced ₹2 lakh assistance per family. The Minority Welfare Department is actively coordinating and submitting all required details to the Central Government to ensure smooth and timely disbursement of funds.
