GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan said that following the delimitation and expansion of GHMC boundaries, officials found numerous unauthorised advertisements at prominent locations. These include illegal hoardings, banners, flex boards, and other structures erected without permission.

To address concerns related to road safety, visual clutter, and rule violations, GHMC has initiated a systematic enforcement drive. As part of this drive:
