Incident Near Vivekananda Nagar
According to police, the incident took place near Vivekananda Nagar when the child, identified as Nishvika Adiya (5), was travelling on a two-wheeler with her family. Suddenly, the child screamed in pain, prompting them to stop the vehicle.
Upon checking, they found that Chinese manjha had become entangled around her neck, causing a deep cut.
Severe Bleeding, Child Declared Dead
The child suffered severe bleeding and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared her brought dead, stating that she had succumbed to her injuries before treatment could begin.
Police Register Case, Investigation Underway
The Kukatpally Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Police officials said further action will be taken as per law, and they are verifying the source of the illegal Chinese manjha.
