Grand Curtain Raiser Event Unveils Gujarati Ekta Mahotsav “GEM-24” in Hyderabad
In a spectacular curtain-raiser event held on December 3, 2023, the Telangana Gujarati Samaj unveiled the much-anticipated "Gujarati Ekta Mahotsav" (GEM-24), set to be the largest celebration for Gujaratis in Telangana.
Hyderabad: In a spectacular curtain-raiser event held on December 3, 2023, the Telangana Gujarati Samaj unveiled the much-anticipated “Gujarati Ekta Mahotsav” (GEM-24), set to be the largest celebration for Gujaratis in Telangana.
The grand event will span over four months, commencing with a massive road show on January 4, 2024, and culminating in the grand finale in April 2024.
Organized by the Telangana Gujarati Samaj, the GEM-24 promises a diverse array of activities, including sports tournaments such as the Chetan Bhoghani T-20 Cricket Tournament, Chawda & Parekh Women’s Box Cricket, Seth & Mehta Badminton Tournament, and Ghia & Patel Table Tennis Tournament.
Cultural events include Patel & Gandhi Garba Raas Ni Rumjhat, Telangana Gujarati Kids Fashion Show, Miss & Mrs. Telangana Gujarati, Dharia & Kadakia Voice of Gujarati, Dance Gujarati Dance, Nach Baliye, and more.
The grand finale in April 2024 will feature events like Gratitude Day, Film Festival, Pride of Gujarati, Telangana Gujarati Divas, and others.
The curtain-raiser event witnessed the march of cricket teams, unveiling the trophy for the T-20 Cricket Tournament. Notable personalities like Premal Parekh, Chandubhai Patel, Chetan Boghani, Minal Vakharia, and others graced the occasion.
