All three are brothers and were running the business from godowns in MM Pahadi, Rajendra Nagar.
Unhygienic Manufacturing and Dangerous Chemicals Used
During the raid, officials found shocking details:
- Ginger and garlic paste prepared in highly unhygienic conditions
- Use of harmful chemicals like:
- Santic acid
- Acetic acid
- Synthetic food colours
- Mixing of garlic husk and low-quality materials
The paste was stored in open plastic tubs, exposed to dust and flies, making it unsafe for consumption.
Huge Quantity Seized Worth ₹3.5 Lakh
Authorities seized:
- 70 quintals of ginger and garlic paste
- Synthetic food colour packets (1 box)
- Santic acid (40 litres)
- Chemical materials from Aditya Birla (1 box)
