Hyderabad and CFI Enter Final of 19th All India Rajiv Gandhi Under-19 T20 Cricket Championship
Shri V. Hanumantha Rao, former MP and Chairman of the Cricket Federation of India (Regd.), Telangana Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy will attend the final as the Chief Guest and distribute prizes to the winning teams at 4:00 PM during the closing ceremony.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad and the Cricket Federation of India (CFI) teams have stormed into the final of the 19th All India Rajiv Gandhi Under-19 Twenty-20 Cricket Championship, being played at the L.B. Cricket Stadium, Fateh Maidan, Hyderabad. The grand final will be played tomorrow at 1:00 PM between Hyderabad and CFI at the same venue.
According to Shri V. Hanumantha Rao, former MP and Chairman of the Cricket Federation of India (Regd.), Telangana Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy will attend the final as the Chief Guest and distribute prizes to the winning teams at 4:00 PM during the closing ceremony.
In the first semifinal held at L.B. Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad defeated Telangana by a massive margin of 80 runs. Batting first, Hyderabad posted 163 runs for 7 wickets in 12 overs. Sai Sharan Ravuri played a sensational knock of 72 runs off just 27 balls, smashing five sixes and seven fours. Karan Yadav contributed 33 runs, while Aditya scored 26. For Telangana, Adarsh Deshmukh took 4 wickets. In reply, Telangana were bowled out for 83 runs in 11.1 overs. Bharath Annamraj picked up 4 wickets, while Rahul Karthikeya and Kunde Pavan Kumar took two wickets each. Sai Sharan Ravuri was declared Player of the Match.
The second semifinal was played at Amberpet Water Works Cricket Ground, where CFI defeated Karnataka by 14 runs. CFI scored 162 runs for 8 wickets in 18 overs, with Jaydev top-scoring with 34 runs, followed by Syed Ubaid with 24 and R. Prudvishwar with 23. Karnataka, chasing 162, managed 145 runs for 9 wickets in 18 overs. Kshitij Singhania scored 69 runs, but fell short of taking his team to victory. K. Manvith Yadav and Akshay Kumar took two wickets each for CFI. K. Manvith Yadav was named Player of the Match.
The Cricket Federation of India (Regd.), established in 2006 and registered in 2008, has successfully organised over 50 national tournaments for boys and girls and conducted 28 international tours to countries including Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Oman. The federation aims to groom young cricketers, especially from rural and backward regions, and provide them a platform to showcase their talent while steering them away from social evils such as drug addiction. It also actively promotes women’s cricket through its “Beti Khilao” initiative, supporting the Government of India’s “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign.
The prize distribution and closing ceremony, along with a cultural programme, will be held tomorrow at 4:00 PM at L.B. Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad. The organisers have invited media personnel and photographers to cover the grand finale and closing celebrations.
