Hyderabad Hosts Bihar Development Summit 2026, Highlights Role of Biharis in Nation Building

Hyderabad: The Bihar Development Summit 2026 was held in the historic city of Hyderabad, marking an important milestone in strengthening Bihar’s role in India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047. The summit highlighted the contribution of Biharis to nation building and reaffirmed the commitment to Bihar’s development as a key pillar of national progress.

The event was organised under the banner of the “Let’s Inspire Bihar” campaign and took place at T-Hub, Hyderabad, Telangana. The summit aimed to expand the national dimension of the campaign and bring together leaders, policymakers, and change-makers committed to Bihar’s growth.

Former BJP Telangana State Spokesperson Mir Firasath Ali Baqri played a key role at the summit and felicitated Vikas Vaibhav, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Government of Bihar, and Patron of Let’s Inspire Bihar, for his dedicated service and contribution towards social transformation and youth inspiration.

The programme was inaugurated by Etela Rajender, Hon’ble BJP Member of Parliament from Malkajgiri. Several Bihar BJP MLAs attended the summit as distinguished guests, including Mithilesh Tiwari, Ratnesh Kushwaha, Rajeev Ranjan Singh, and Dr Saraj Kumar.

Speakers at the summit emphasised that Bihar’s development is crucial for India’s overall progress and called for collective efforts from government, civil society, and the diaspora. The summit also focused on innovation, leadership, governance, and youth empowerment as key drivers for Bihar’s future.

The Bihar Development Summit 2026 concluded with a strong message of unity, collaboration, and renewed resolve to transform Bihar into a growth engine contributing meaningfully to India’s development goals.
