Hyderabad: Massive Fire Breaks Out at Hero Motorcycle Showroom in Kukatpally

Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at a Hero motorcycle showroom in Sai Nagar under the limits of the Kukatpally Housing Board (KPHB) Police Station in Hyderabad on Wednesday, triggering panic in the busy commercial area.

According to eyewitnesses, the blaze initially appeared minor but rapidly spread across the entire showroom within minutes, causing chaos and fear among shopkeepers and passersby in the vicinity.

Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit. Upon receiving information, fire brigade teams rushed to the spot along with police personnel and managed to bring the flames under control, preventing them from spreading to nearby shops.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported, as all employees present inside the showroom managed to evacuate safely in time. However, several motorcycles parked inside the premises, along with furniture, computers, and important documents, were gutted in the fire. The financial loss is estimated to run into lakhs of rupees.

The KPHB Police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident and are also examining whether adequate fire safety measures were in place at the showroom, including the availability of proper emergency exits.
