The products were reportedly being sold to hotels, catering services, and customers as quality items.
Six Accused Arrested
The arrested individuals include:
- Jaipal Singh Rajpurohit
- Kolariya Vaibhav
- Naresh Kolariya
- Prem Anil Vyas
- Ram Kishore Kolariya
- Laxmi Narayana Kolariya
They were allegedly involved in procuring dairy products from unknown sources and selling them illegally.
Unhygienic Conditions Found
During the inspection, officials discovered:
- Paneer stored in open plastic covers exposed to dust and flies
- No manufacturing or expiry date labels
- Absence of brand details and pest control records
Authorities confirmed that the products were unsafe and unfit for human consumption.
Massive Seizure of Dairy Products
The total seizure included:
- Paneer: 2,572 kg
- Kova: 927 kg
- White Cream: 249 kg
- Ghee: 12 kg
- Ajmera Kalakand: 132 kg
Total quantity seized: 3,892 kg
Estimated value: ₹11.11 lakh
Supplied to Hotels and Caterers
Officials revealed that:
- The accused supplied these products to restaurants, catering services, and retail shops
- Products were sold at around ₹280 per kg as quality paneer
- The racket generated huge illegal profits
Case Handed Over for Investigation
- The accused and seized items were handed over to Mahankali Police Station
- A detailed investigation is underway to identify the full supply chain
