Hyderabad: In response to the growing prevalence of cybercrimes, the Hyderabad City Police, in collaboration with Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited (Piramal Finance), has launched a comprehensive Cyber Crime Awareness Campaign aimed at empowering citizens to protect themselves from online fraud and digital threats. The campaign was officially inaugurated on Wednesday afternoon at the ICCC Building.

Collaboration with Piramal Finance for Community Welfare

Piramal Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Piramal Enterprises Ltd. (PEL), has consistently demonstrated its commitment to community welfare through various initiatives. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the organization has been conducting cybercrime awareness programs in partnership with law enforcement agencies across India. These successful campaigns have previously been held in cities like Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Varanasi, and Kanpur over the past year, utilizing innovative strategies to educate the public on online safety.

Campaign Features and Public Engagement

The campaign in Hyderabad marks an important step in this ongoing mission, spanning 15 days under the slogan sab ki neeyat saaf nahi hoti. The initiative includes engaging activities such as Street Plays (Nukkad Nataks) performed at high-footfall locations, designed to educate and involve the public in the fight against cybercrime.
