Hyderabad: HYDRAA, under the directives of Commissioner AV Ranganath, conducted a comprehensive survey in Ameenpur in response to allegations of illegal encroachments on parks and roads.

Complaints from residents of Venkataramana Colony accused Golden Key Ventures of encroaching on over an acre of park land as well as roads, prompting this investigation.

Officials from the JD Survey office, alongside HYDRAA personnel, led the extensive survey, which covered over 150 acres across five survey numbers.

The survey took place with the participation of residents from Venkataramana and Chakrapuri colonies, representatives from Golden Key Ventures, and nearby community members.

The HYDRAA team examined layouts and based on survey numbers, worked to safeguard designated park areas and roadways. They identified land boundaries using survey numbers and boundary stones, with a focus on clarifying any unauthorised extensions into public spaces.

The operation saw active involvement from HYDRAA, HMDA, municipality, revenue and survey department officials, all collaborating to determine and secure rightful land demarcations.
