The team raided a premises in Venkatesh Nagar, Jiyaguda, where:

Accused Arrested for Illegal Pickle Manufacturing
The accused has been identified as:
- K. Ravinder (62), resident of Jiyaguda
- Engaged in illegal pickle business
He was apprehended on the spot during the raid.
Huge Quantity of Unhygienic Pickles Seized
Police seized a massive stock including:
- Red chilli pickle – 2400 kg
- Amla pickle – 320 kg
- Tomato water mixture – 1440 kg
- Tomato pickle and lemon pickle drums
- Preserved mango and lemon with rock salt – over 4000 kg combined
The total seized stock is valued at ₹3,00,000.
Serious Health Risk to Public
Officials revealed alarming details:
- Pickles were made using low-quality and stale raw materials
- Products were prepared in highly unhygienic surroundings
- Items were supplied to kirana stores, hotels, and restaurants illegally
Consumption of such products could lead to serious health issues.
