Hyderabad: A tragic incident has shocked residents of Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district after a three-month-old baby boy was found dead in a water tank in Palem village.

According to police, the incident occurred late at night following ongoing marital disputes between the child’s parents. Reports indicate that the couple had been facing differences for several days. Due to these issues, the mother, identified as Neelamma, had returned to her parental home along with the infant.

In an attempt to resolve the dispute, a village panchayat was convened earlier in the day to mediate between the two families. However, no resolution was reached, and both sides returned to their respective homes.

Later that night, the infant reportedly went missing from his mother’s side. A frantic search was launched by the family members, during which the child’s body was discovered in a nearby water tank. The discovery triggered panic and grief in the village.
