Hyderabad: In Hyderabad, a first-year intermediate student from a private junior college took his own life in his hostel room at Turkayamjal in Adibatla on the outskirts of the city.
The 16-year-old, who had recently joined the college, was discovered hanging by his roommate. He was rushed to a nearby private hospital. However, he was pronounced dead by the doctors.
The motive behind the suicide remains unclear, with no suicide note found. While the student was reportedly good at studies, allegations of harassment by the college management have been raised by protesting student leaders.
Adibatla police are conducting an investigation, exploring all possible angles.
