The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the death of Saeed Ahmad Abed Khudari, a key Hamas money exchanger, in Gaza City. Khudari was reportedly killed in an Israeli airstrike on Thursday. The IDF labeled Khudari as a central figure in the financial operations of Hamas, specifically for his role in facilitating terror financing.
Khudari’s Role in Hamas Operations
According to the IDF, Saeed Khudari was heavily involved in funneling money to Hamas’ military operations. As the head of the Al Wefaq Co. fund, Khudari was linked to numerous financial transfers that supported Hamas’ military wing. The Israeli government had previously designated the Al Wefaq Co. as a terrorist organization due to its association with Hamas.

Mohammed Saleh Mohammed Al-Bardawil, an alleged propaganda and psychological operations expert within Hamas’ military wing, was also killed in the same series of attacks.
Renewed Israeli Assaults on Gaza
The Israeli military resumed air and ground assaults on Gaza on March 18, following the end of a two-month ceasefire with Hamas. The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with Gaza health authorities reporting that at least 1,249 Palestinians have been killed and over 3,000 others injured in the recent escalation. The IDF stated that it has entered a “new stage” in its offensive in Gaza, intensifying the attacks on the enclave.
The situation in Gaza remains dire, with mounting casualties on both sides as the conflict continues to escalate.
