Kavitha said she has special devotion to Jogulamba Ammavaru and announced that any major future programme of Telangana Jagruti would begin from Jogulamba Gadwal, as the people of Nadigadda are honest and sincere. She thanked the artists and women who participated in the programme. She said artists played a key role in the Telangana movement and should continue to play an important role in future social movements.

She clarified that she agreed to attend the Sabha only on the condition that women farmers participate in large numbers, as no crop is cultivated without women and they nurture farming like their own children. She stated that seed cotton from this region is supplied across the country, yet companies are harassing farmers and not clearing pending dues. Despite assurances before the Collector, payments have not been made. She demanded that seed cotton farmers be paid within a week, failing which a protest dharna would be organised in Gadwal with farmers from across the state.
Enthusiastic and grand welcome to Kalvakuntla Kavitha
She said farmers are being supplied electricity at midnight, forcing them to visit fields despite the dangers of snakes and scorpions. Criticising the shortage of urea, Kavitha said farmers are being advised to book through an app, while many do not even possess smartphones. “First give everyone an iPhone, then talk about apps,” she remarked.
On the issue of loan waiver, she said the Congress government announced loan waiver on Sonia Ji’s birthday immediately after coming to power, and Revanth Reddy advised every family to take loans of two lakh rupees. However, out of 40 lakh farmers, only 25 lakh benefited, while 15 lakh are still waiting. Farmers who took loans of 50,000 and one lakh rupees also did not receive relief. She demanded complete loan waiver for every farmer and reiterated her challenge to debate the figures with the government.
She alleged that Rythu Bharosa has been turned into an election gift and farmers are remembered only during elections. She noted that in the Sarpanch elections near Narayanpet, G. Srinivas was elected unopposed, and in the municipal elections, victory was achieved in Waddepally municipality. The journey of Jagruti’s victory has begun from Gadwal.
Kavitha said MLAs in the state are switching parties and the Chief Minister is inducting elected representatives into his party. She demanded that the Gadwal MLA clarify through a press conference which party he belongs to. She stated that when she was suspended from BRS, she immediately resigned from her MLC post. Courage and integrity are essential in politics, she said.
She strongly criticised the slow pace of irrigation projects Tummilla and Nettampadu and questioned when Nadigadda would receive water if this pace continues. She alleged that the BRS government did injustice to the region and the Congress government has also failed to deliver justice.
She said people should elect representatives who question issues affecting them. Telangana Jagruti is preparing a new “political weapon” for the people, which will prove to be a “Vajrayudham” in bringing water to Nadigadda. Supporting Ranjith, she urged people to ensure his victory in the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections. She told the public that if anyone offers money, they may accept it as it belongs to the people, but they should vote only for those who serve the public.
Kavitha said, “A state cannot progress on the tears of farmers,” and alleged that the present government is making farmers weep and will not last long. She announced that a memorandum on farmers’ issues would be submitted to the Collector and that Jagruti would continue to question the government on issues concerning farmers and women.
In conclusion, she demanded that promises of Rs 2,500 per month for women and one tola of gold be fulfilled.
