“Kill Them All” US Congressman’s hateful comment about Palestinian children

Washington: American Republican Representative Andy Biggs has sparked outrage from Democrats and the Muslim community residing in America with his hateful remarks about Palestinian children in Gaza, stating “they all should be killed.”

The American Muslim Advocacy Council condemned Biggs’ statement in a statement, writing that his comment promotes the “extermination of Palestinian people.”

A circulating video on social media shows a woman questioning, “I’ve seen footage of children’s bodies being cut up, you’re bombing these children with my tax money.”

To which the U.S. Congress member responded with a chilling remark, “I think we should just kill them all, Hamas and Palestinians have been attacking Israel for 20 years, now it’s time to pay the price,” before turning towards the camera and saying, “Death to Hamas.”

On the other hand, a spokesperson for Biggs, Emma Settle, defended his statement, saying that he was not referring to Palestinians but rather explicitly mentioned the “terrorist group” Hamas.

This video circulating on social media is from February 15, but it gained attention when the Biden administration vetoed the ceasefire resolution for the third time at the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday.
