KTR Reacts Strongly to SIT Questioning
Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, KTR expressed anger over the questioning of KCR, describing it as an attempt to harass a leader who dedicated his life to the Telangana movement. He asserted that KCR is a leader who never bowed to pressure from Delhi and remained firm despite facing numerous challenges.
“KCR is a person who does not surrender to any pressure. He has faced countless obstacles but never backed down,” KTR said.
Praise for KCR’s Role in Telangana Movement
KTR praised KCR’s decades-long struggle for the creation of Telangana, stating that he stood “like a mountain” against what he termed as anti-Telangana forces. He said KCR’s commitment and resilience were unmatched and that no political tactics could weaken him.
“KCR did not give up even for a second during his long fight for Telangana. He stood firm against evil forces and petty politics,” he said, adding that KCR remains invincible.
Sharp Attack on Political Opponents
In a sharp attack on political opponents, KTR remarked that those targeting KCR lacked even a basic understanding of history. “Some people may think they are creating history, but they can’t even understand it,” he said.
“KCR is the history of Telangana. Those trying to intimidate him cannot even become a small footnote in that history,” KTR added, warning that spreading hatred and misinformation would not affect the former Chief Minister.
Political Tensions Escalate in Telangana
The questioning of KCR by the SIT has intensified political tensions in Telangana, with the BRS accusing the Congress government of using investigative agencies to settle political scores. The Congress, however, has maintained that the investigation is being conducted as per the law.
