Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced Eid al-Fitr holidays for all ministries and government institutions in the country.
According to the announcement, if the holy month of Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the holidays will begin on Thursday, March 19, and continue until Monday, with official work resuming on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
However, if Ramadan ends after 29 days, the holiday period will run from Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, and government offices will reopen on Monday, March 23, 2026.
The CSC also stated that agencies and institutions with special operational requirements may determine their own holiday schedules through their authorized officials, ensuring that essential public services continue without disruption.
