During the meeting, Lieutenant General Seth emphasized the close coordination between the state administration and the Indian Army to ensure preparedness for disaster response and internal security situations, a Defence statement said.

The General Officer expressed gratitude on behalf of the ex-servicemen community for the recent increments in their benefits, which were announced during the State Managing Committee meeting. He also discussed various innovative welfare schemes for veterans, highlighting the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to their well-being.
Lieutenant General Seth presented a memento to the Governor, marking the meeting as a reinforcement of the Indian Army’s dedication to national security, disaster response, and veteran welfare, underscoring its steadfast commitment to the nation.
