Major Setback for BRS Govt. in Telangana as Muslim JAC Extends Support to Congress for State Assembly Election

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government in Telangana faces a significant setback as the Joint Action Committee of Telangana Muslim organizations decides to support the Congress party for the upcoming State Legislative Assembly election on November 30.

The decision stems from the perceived failure of the state government to address the demands presented by the Muslim JAC.

The committee urges all Muslims in the state to unite and vote for the Congress, expressing concern about the potential threats to India’s constitutional integrity if the BJP forms the central government.

The Muslim JAC emphasizes that their stance in the 2024 parliamentary elections will depend on the Congress fulfilling commitments to the Muslim community.
