  • GHMC officials

conducted a raid on April 1, 2026, at a shop operating under the name “A to Z Sheep & Goat Offals” in RK Pet, Chisti Chaman Dargah area.

Shocking Method Used to Sell Rotten Meat

During the investigation, officials found that:

  • The accused allegedly sourced cheap goat and sheep offals from different states
  • Meat was stored for long periods in deep freezers and plastic tubs
  • Stagnant water was used to suppress foul smell and delay decomposition
  • The spoiled meat was then sold to customers as fresh product

This illegal activity raised serious food safety concerns in Hyderabad.

14 Tons of Decomposed Meat Seized
