Met issues ‘Orange’ alert for 6 districts of Telangana
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana till 0830 hours on Friday.
Hyderabad: Meteorological Centre here on Thursday issued an ‘Orange’ alert of Heavy to very heavy rain likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy and Medak of Telangana during the next 24 hours.
It also issued ‘Yellow’ Alert of Heavy rain likely to occur at isolated places in the districts Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Janagaon, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal of the state during the same period.

Under the impact, there will be water logging in most parts of low lying areas in the districts of Telangana, Disruption of rail/road transport in the few areas of the districts for most hours and Electricity and other social disturbances for few hours.
