MLA Raja Singh asks police to not stop cow vigilantes

BJP MLA Raja Singh today challenged police to stop him from stopping the transportation of cows for their slaughter for the upcoming Bakrid festival.

Hyderabad: BJP MLA Raja Singh today challenged police to stop him from stopping the transportation of cows for their slaughter for the upcoming Bakrid festival.

“The police are threatening Hindu cow vigilantes not to stop the movement of cows on the occasion of Bakrid on June 17. Is it not the responsibility of the State government to follow the Supreme Court’s order not to slaughter the cows,” he asked.

Raja Singh alleged that the cows were being transported to Hyderabad from various places.

“Hindu activists, who were preventing the movement and killing of the cows, should be provided security without disturbing the law and order situation,” he said. “I will go directly into the field to stop cow slaughter,” he said.

Raja Singh challenged the police to stop him if they can. “Muslims are threatening to shoot the Hindu activists with bullets if they stop the cow slaughter. Let’s see whose bullet will land on whom,” he said. He said the police should stop threatening the Hindu activists by calling them.
