New Delhi: Muhammad Asfan, a 30-year-old resident of Hyderabad, who was deceitfully recruited into the Russian army from the bazaar ghaat area Nampally, has been killed in the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Authorities have confirmed Asfan’s death.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, the family members of Muhammad Asfan had requested the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen, Br Asaduddin Owaisi, to help bring him back from the war zone. Asaduddin Owaisi contacted the Indian Embassy in Moscow, and authorities confirmed the young man’s death.

Earlier, a 23-year-old youth from Gujarat also lost his life in the clash between Russia and Ukraine. The deceased youth was identified as Hemal Ashwin Mangue.

It is evident that Muhammad Asfan, a young man from Hyderabad, is among several youths who were deceived by agents into fighting for the Russian army in the ongoing conflict against Ukraine.

The family members of Asfan had appealed to the central government’s Ministry of External Affairs to safely bring back the stranded youths in Russia and take strict action against these deceitful agents.”
