- Police apprehended three suspects at Ali Café X Road in Amberpet
- Officers seized a country-made pistol
- Six live rounds and one magazine were recovered
- Additional items including three mobile phones and an electric scooty were also seized

Details of the Accused Arrested
Police identified the accused involved in the Amberpet murder conspiracy case as:
- Dhamara Arun Kumar (48) – Real estate businessman from Maruthi Nagar, Malkajgiri
- Mohammed Abbu (26) – Pan shop owner from Chennapuram Chowrastha, Jawahar Nagar, Yapral
- Mir Muzammil Ali Khan (23) – Student from Darab Jung Lane, Yakutpura, Hyderabad
All three suspects were taken into custody during the operation.
Murder Plot Targeted Second Wife
According to police investigation, Dhamara Arun Kumar allegedly planned to murder his second wife due to suspicion that she was having an extramarital relationship with a distant relative.
Key findings of the investigation include:
- Arun Kumar allegedly held a grudge against his second wife
- He contacted Mohammed Abbu to arrange a firearm
- Abbu introduced him to Mir Muzammil Ali Khan
- The suspects allegedly planned the murder together
The plan was eventually exposed through police intelligence.
Illegal Pistol Purchased from Bihar
Police investigation revealed that the country-made pistol used in the Amberpet murder conspiracy case was allegedly purchased illegally from Munger district in Bihar, which is known for illegal firearm manufacturing.
According to investigators:
- The weapon was bought for ₹35,000
- The deal included 10 live rounds and two magazines
- The firearm was later delivered to the main accused in Hyderabad
The accused reportedly paid ₹1.10 lakh for arranging the weapon.
Practice Firing Conducted Before Planned Attack
Police further revealed that Arun Kumar practiced firing the pistol at farmland in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district before planning the murder.
Investigators stated that:
- The accused fired two rounds during practice
- One magazine loaded with two rounds was lost during the practice
- The suspects were later planning the final attack at Amberpet
However, police intercepted them before the plan could be executed.
