Hyderabad: Public Entry Restricted in Kancha Gachibowli Land Following Orders

Hyderabad: In accordance with Supreme Court directives and instructions from the Central Empowered Committee, authorities have imposed restrictions on public entry into Kancha Gachibowli village in Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.
The decision was taken by Dr. Vineeth G, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad, to maintain public order and ensure safety in the area. The prohibition applies to individuals who do not have any legitimate or bonafide work in the specified region.
The restriction came into effect from 6:00 AM on April 4 and covers approximately 400 acres of land that is currently under legal scrutiny in WP (PIL) No.30/2025 in the High Court and Suo Moto WP (Civil) No.03/2025 in the Supreme Court.
Officials stated that the move is aimed at preventing any danger to human life, avoiding disturbances to public peace, and ensuring that no person obstructs lawful duties in the area.
The public has been cautioned that violation of this order will lead to legal consequences under applicable provisions of the law.
