TGPSC to Complete All Recruitment Exams Within Fixed Timelines From 2026: Chairman Burra Venkatesham

TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham announces fixed timelines for all recruitment exams from 2026, with single-stage exams in three months and multi-stage exams in six months.

Hyderabad: In a major announcement that will bring relief to lakhs of job aspirants, Burra Venkatesham, Chairman of the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), declared that from 2026 onwards, all recruitment examinations will be completed within fixed timelines.

According to the new system, single-stage examinations will be completed within three months, while multi-stage examinations will be concluded within six months, marking a significant reform in the functioning of TGPSC.

Republic Day Celebrated at TGPSC Office

The announcement was made during the Republic Day celebrations held at the TGPSC office in Hyderabad. The Chairman received the guard of honour and unfurled the National Flag in the presence of Commission Members Amir Ullah Khan, Prof. Narri Yadaiah, Laxmikanth Rathod, Secretary M. Haritha, and officers and staff of the Commission.

2026 to Be a Landmark Year for TGPSC

Addressing the gathering, Burra Venkatesham described 2026 as a landmark year for TGPSC, with several reforms and new initiatives planned to strengthen transparency, efficiency, and accountability in recruitment processes.

He stated that all pending recruitment processes have now been completed, noting that in earlier years, some recruitments took several years to conclude, causing uncertainty for candidates.

TGPSC a Constitutional Body With Great Responsibility

The Chairman emphasised that TGPSC is a constitutional body that carries immense responsibility and public trust. He urged all officials and staff to uphold the dignity of the institution by performing their duties with commitment, integrity, and dedication.

National Conferences and Resource Database Highlighted

Highlighting recent achievements, the Chairman said that two national-level conferences were successfully organised in Hyderabad. He also revealed that TGPSC has created a comprehensive database of resource persons, making it the first Public Service Commission in the country to take such an initiative.

Structured Training for Newly Recruited Staff

Burra Venkatesham announced that newly recruited employees from Group-III services will be provided structured and systematic training, aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery within the Commission.

Boost for Job Aspirants in Telangana

The decision to introduce fixed timelines for TGPSC exams from 2026 is expected to bring greater clarity and confidence among aspirants, ensuring faster recruitment and reducing long delays in government hiring.
