The yatra, aimed at fostering economic justice, social justice, and political justice, commenced on Sunday, January 14, from the historical town of Khongjom, Manipur, and is set to culminate in Mumbai.
On Friday, the former Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President and ex-Rajya Sabha Member, Mr. V. Hanumantha Rao, arrived in Imphal, where he was warmly welcomed by Manipur PCC President, Mr. Keisham Meghachandra Singh, at the Imphal PCC office.
During the meeting, Meghachandra Singh presented an invitation card for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, symbolizing unity and justice across the nation.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the nationwide movement, Hanumantha Rao spoke optimistically about the success of Rahul Gandhi’s earlier Bharat Jodo Yatra, emphasizing its impact on various aspects of justice.
He believes that the second phase of the yatra, with its focus on economic, social, and political justice, will achieve similar success.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra holds significance as it seeks to address pressing issues of economic disparities, social inequalities, and political justice, resonating with the broader concerns of the nation.
Participants from various states are expected to join the yatra as it progresses towards its final destination in Mumbai.
