Addressing the participants, Sridhar lauded the skill and courage of the players, saying, “Never assume that you are incapable of doing anything. What may appear as a small physical disability is nothing compared to the strength you possess within. You are mentally stronger than many. Showcase your talent in sports — opportunities like this can take you to great heights.”
He added that the NFC grounds, usually reserved for national-level programs, were made available for the tournament in support of the noble cause, emphasizing that the event is aimed at providing a platform for specially abled players to demonstrate their abilities.

We welcome participants from all southern states and hope this tournament inspires many more,” he said.
The tournament is expected to foster sporting excellence among differently-abled players while promoting awareness and inclusion in the sporting community.
