Spotting of tiger instills fear among people of AP district

Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasham district is abuzz with excitement as the presence of a tiger has captured the attention of the locals.

The movement of this magnificent wild animal has instilled fear among the residents of Lakshmipuram, Ayavaripalli, and Nigolavaram over the past three months.

Recently, local cowherds had an awe-inspiring encounter when they spotted the tiger roaming near Ayavari Palli Panchayat.

Concerns have been raised by the people regarding the perceived lack of action from the forest department officials and the lack of awareness among the residents of the border areas.

The officials from the forest department, however, believe that Lakshmipuram and other nearby areas have become a suitable habitat for tigers due to the abundance of food resources available in the region.
