SSC Examinations in Telangana to Begin on March 14
Authorities have clarified that students will be allowed a maximum delay of five minutes after the scheduled start time. Candidates arriving after 9:35 AM will not be permitted to enter the examination centres under any circumstances.

Hyderabad: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in Telangana will commence on March 14 and continue until April 16, according to officials from the education department.
Authorities have clarified that students will be allowed a maximum delay of five minutes after the scheduled start time. Candidates arriving after 9:35 AM will not be permitted to enter the examination centres under any circumstances.
Students have been advised to reach their respective examination centres at least one hour before the exam to avoid any last-minute issues.
This year, a total of 5,17,727 students will appear for the SSC examinations across 2,676 centres in the state. Among these centres, 1,582 are government schools and 1,094 are private institutions.

To ensure transparency and prevent malpractice, all examination centres have been declared “No Cell Phone Zones.” The restriction will apply not only to students but also to invigilators, flying squads, and senior inspection officials.
Authorities warned that any officer found using a mobile phone while on duty will face immediate suspension, while those involved in paper leaks may face dismissal from service.
Meanwhile, officials in the education department, particularly District Education Officers (DEOs), are facing a challenging situation this year as they will have to manage two major responsibilities simultaneously.
While the examinations begin on March 14, the evaluation of answer sheets is scheduled to start from April 1, making it difficult for authorities to balance exam conduct and monitoring of evaluation camps.
