Kamareddy (Telangana): Around 2000 students, under the banner of the Telugu Nadu Student Federation (TNSF) State Committee on Saturday held a massive demonstration in Kamareddy district demanding immediate release of Rs 5500 crores pending fee arrears spanning over the last three years, impacting engineering, degree, and B.Ed professional colleges across the state.
Addressing the gathering, TNSF State President Parlapalli Ravinder and General Secretary Dr Balu expressed concern over the injustice faced by unemployed students since the formation of Telangana state.
Accusing the previous BRS government of deceiving students under the guise of “golden Telangana,” they urged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to promptly address the issue.
Failure to release the pending fee arrears, they warned, could lead to severe difficulties for economically disadvantaged students.
